How do I book a session?

All bookings and official club communications are managed through Spond. Open your session invitation, tap Accept and follow the payment instructions. Sometimes payment is requested later, once a session is confirmed. Please add a clear profile photo so hosts can put names to faces.

What if I can no longer make it?

Change your Spond response to Decline as soon as possible, so your place can be offered to the waiting list. The club cannot offer refunds or credits for member cancellations.

How does the waiting list work?

If a place opens up, you will receive an individual invitation. Accept and pay promptly: you will typically have 12–24 hours to respond, or less for a same-day session, before the offer moves to the next player.

What does membership cost?

The club notes list annual membership at £5 for 2026/27, in addition to session fees. New players can attend up to three sessions as temporary Pay & Play members, then receive a membership request from the Membership Secretary via Spond. Check Spond for your current payment request.

Where are club notices and documents?

Official notices are sent through Spond. For the constitution, membership terms and meeting minutes, open Groups → Hingham Pickleball Club → Files. All members are welcome at the annual general meeting.

How can I join the WhatsApp group?

Our WhatsApp group is for social, pickleball-related chat. Email your mobile number to hinghampickleball@gmail.com to ask to be added. Please continue to use Spond for bookings and official messages.
